Finally, Making the Leap!

I’ve had my fingers poised over the blogger keyboard for years, but could never quite find the courage to press the “post” button.

Now, at this time of new beginnings for both our country and for myself, I’ve decided it’s time to add my voice to the Blogosphere.  (For a small donation, I could probably be persuaded otherwise…)

I’ve recently earned a master’s in library and information science (MSLIS) from Drexel University’s School of Information Science and Technology.  In former incarnations, I’ve been a teacher, a bookseller, a non-profit manager, and a docent training program organizer. From 1994 to 1999, I worked at a small public library – first as the adult program and public relations coordinator, and later as the Internet coordinator and webmaster.

I’m currently working on a post-master’s Certificate of Advanced Studies at Drexel, where I’m concentrating on all things digital and archival.
